Founder, director of NSMC is an Orthopedic Surgeon and has specialized in Sports Medicine from the United Kingdom.
Dr. Madhu has been practicing Sports Medicine in Chennai for two decades. Sports medicine specialist for the Chennai Super Kings, IPL team.He has been associated with various sports bodies in Tamil Nadu in his capacity as a specialist in Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is the Official doctor to the Board of Cricket Control of India for South India and the He is also the Medical Specialist guiding the following organizations, The Tamil Nadu Cricket Association, The Tamil Nadu Basketball Association. He is also the Sports Medical advisor to the Sports Division of Various Banks and Public Sector Companies based in Tamilnadu.
Dr. Madhu has been involved with the Indian Premier league from its inception and is the Team Doctor of the Chennai Super Kings team.
Dr Madhu is a member of various International and National bodies associated with Sports Medicine namely the International Federation of Sports Medicine (FIMS), The European Interdisciplinary Society for Clinical and Sports Associations (EISCA) and the Sports Medicine Association of India.
Dr Madhu has attended various International conferences and workshops aimed at improving sports performance and prevention of Sports injuries. He had been writing a popular column in the ‘Sunday Times’ titled Bodyline and is currently anchoring a column on sports medicine in "Times wellness ". He also has many international publications to his credit.
